Aren Herbert Hoogerdijk is a passionate emerging director and screenwriter from Perth, Western Australia. Known for films such as "Lights, Camera, Perth!" and "School Bus Friends." Aren's talent was recognized when he won the Audience Choice Award at the Perth Horror Film Festival for his first student film, "All I'll Ever Be." 

In addition to this success, Aren's other student films, "Uploaded" and "Lights, Camera, Perth!," were accepted into the prestigious Revelation Perth International Film Festival. These films further demonstrated his versatility and skill in various genres.

Currently, Aren is in post-production for his latest project, "School Bus Friends." This coming-of-age drama explores the concept of platonic soulmates who meet on a school bus and forge a lifelong friendship. The film promises to be a heartfelt and insightful exploration of human connections, showcasing Aren's continued growth as a storyteller.
